WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU ARRIVE IN CLARKSDALE

Once you have checked into your accommodation we recommend that you visit the Cat Head Store on Delta Avenue. Here you will meet owner Roger Stolle and his Blues Pug Ayler. They have all the info about what's happening in town each day and Cat Head also sells many Blues related items.   And, if you arrive in town between 3pm till 6pm Wednesday to Saturday we  recommend that you catch a show at The Bad. Apple Blues. and Art's Centre. It's a cool little Juke Joint and everyone is welcome! Sean puts on a great show and is a fountain of knowledge regarding Blues Music and its history.  This one-of-a-kind and intimate experience will leave you with memories that last a lifetime. The club is located at 349 Issaquena just near The New Roxy Theatre!!
